Scope
This policy describes the QuickPlayBox website at quickplaybox.com and the current version of Screw Escape. It distinguishes the game’s local behavior from information that may be processed by the services used to deliver the website.
Game progress and browser storage
Screw Escape uses your browser’s local storage to remember your highest unlocked level, completed levels, coin balance, and sound preference. The game stores these values under screw-escape-v1. It does not require a player account or send these saved values to a game server.
This is functional storage used to keep your game working between visits. It is not an advertising identifier. Saves stay in that browser and website storage area until you clear them or your browser removes them. Private browsing, browser settings, a different device, or a different website address may affect whether progress is available.
You can remove this information by clearing website data for quickplaybox.com in your browser settings. Doing so resets your local game progress and settings. If storage is unavailable, the game remains playable, but progress may not survive a later visit.
Cookies, analytics, and advertisements
QuickPlayBox uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits to the website and improve our pages. The Google tag is installed on the home, About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Contact pages.
When a page opens, the tag can send a page-view event and collect information such as the page address and title, referring website, browser and device information, session activity, and identifiers used for analytics. Google receives technical information needed to process these requests. Analytics is separate from your local Screw Escape save: this installation does not upload your coin balance, unlocked levels, completed levels, or sound preference, and does not attach a name, email address, or player account to visits.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including cookies with names beginning with _ga, to distinguish visits and sessions. Their availability and duration depend on browser controls and analytics settings. Data retention is governed by the settings of our Google Analytics property and Google’s applicable policies. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in this installation.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking analytics does not prevent the game from working. Clearing all website data also removes your local game save, so use your browser’s specific cookie controls if you want to keep that progress.
Google may process analytics information on infrastructure outside your country. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services for more information.
The game’s custom event adapter currently remains a local debugging interface; this update adds page analytics without forwarding the game’s custom level, hint, or reward events. Automatic measurements available in Google Analytics may depend on the property’s enhanced-measurement settings.
“Watch ad” options still use a clearly labeled reward simulation. They do not connect to a live advertising network or show real advertisements. Website hosting or security services may also use technical mechanisms to deliver and protect the website, separately from analytics and game saves. We will update this policy when these practices change.
Website delivery and technical information
Visiting a website involves sending a request to its hosting infrastructure. Hosting or security providers may process information such as an IP address, browser information, the requested page, request time, and a referring page. Such processing may support page delivery, reliability, security, or abuse prevention.
The game itself does not create a database of this information. Provider processing, log retention, and any international handling depend on the website’s actual hosting and security configuration. We do not promise a fixed log-retention period that has not been confirmed.
Contact information and messages
The Contact page currently contains an unavailable form preview. Its fields are disabled: it cannot accept or send messages, and no personal information is collected through that preview. Please do not enter private or sensitive information into a demonstration form.
If a working contact service is introduced, this policy will explain what information it collects, why it is used, and how long it is kept.
Sharing and security
The current game does not upload or sell your local save data and does not share it with advertisers. Website requests are handled by the infrastructure needed to deliver the site. Google processes website analytics as described above and in its linked policies. Other third-party services added later will be identified when introduced.
We aim to keep the game lightweight and avoid unnecessary data collection. No website, device, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your browser up to date and avoid sharing sensitive information through game interfaces.
Children and families
The current game does not ask players for names, email addresses, age, or other profile information. There are no accounts, chat features, or functioning contact forms in this version. Parents and guardians can help children manage browser settings and clear local game data.
Website analytics may process browser identifiers and technical visit information, including when a child visits. Parents and guardians can use browser controls to limit analytics cookies. Any child-directed data collection or future feature intended to collect personal information from children requires an appropriate privacy review and any protections or parental consent required by applicable law.
Your choices and privacy questions
You can play without registering, turn sound off, and control or clear local saves through your browser. Privacy rights relating to personal information processed by the site or its providers depend on your location and the processing involved.
Visit Contact for the current availability of contact options. A working privacy-request channel is not yet available through that page; the form preview must not be treated as a submitted request.

We may update this policy when the website or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Changes to advertising, analytics, or contact services will be reflected here.
